The Red Lion

With a history dating back to 1730, The Red Lion at Water End is situated in rural Hertfordshire. During its life as an old coaching inn, the building housed a Brewhouse, two cellars and six rooms, and occupied three acres of land complete with animals and farm equipment. With its traditional yet modern feel its current features include two lounges, a spacious yet cosy bar area and large dining area. The restaurant walls are of floor to ceiling glass, opening out to an alfresco patio providing picturesque views of the pub garden and greenery. With an open theatre kitchen, guests can watch their food cooked fresh right in front of their eyes from both a Josper charcoal grill and wood fired pizza oven.
