The Randolph Hotel Oxford Christmas Party 2026

The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton, brings Christmas parties to one of the city’s best-known landmarks: a Grade II listed Victorian Gothic hotel directly opposite the Ashmolean Museum. Through the festive season its chandelier-lit Ballroom fills with crackers, Christmas dinners and a DJ, while smaller groups sit down to festive lunches and dinners in a private room of their own.

The Randolph has been part of Oxford life since the 1860s, and its Graduate makeover has given the Victorian interiors a playful streak, with college crests down the grand staircase, an Alice in Wonderland-themed restaurant and the wood-panelled Morse Bar, where Colin Dexter wrote some of his Inspector Morse novels.

The hotel has several event spaces to suit different kinds of Christmas party. Joiner nights and private party nights are held in the chandelier-lit Ballroom, and festive lunches and dinners are served in the Lancaster Room.

With 151 bedrooms upstairs, your guests can head to bed without leaving the building, and the hotel offers festive room rates for Christmas party groups. Ask us about these when you enquire.

The Randolph sits on Beaumont Street, on the corner of Magdalen Street in the centre of Oxford, a short walk from the colleges and Cornmarket. Oxford railway station is about half a mile away, around a ten-minute walk. Gloucester Green coach station, with the Oxford Tube to London and the airport coaches, is a few minutes away on foot. Valet parking is available for anyone driving in, booked in advance.
