Big Belly Bar & Comedy Club is a lively South Bank venue made for a Christmas party with plenty of laughs. Comedians take to the stage upstairs every night. Downstairs, the bar and foodhall serve street food from independent traders alongside cocktails, fizz and pints, and there’s a terrace out front for a breather between rounds.
The rest of the year it’s known for weekend comedy shows, themed bottomless brunches and quiz nights. That sense of fun carries into its festive parties, and karaoke, musical bingo and hosted Christmas quizzes can all be added to the night.
Smaller teams can book a reserved area for a Festive Social, with afternoon or evening sessions to choose from. For a private Christmas party, the Big Belly Room hosts 50 to 200 guests with its own bar, a DJ and full AV. Larger companies can take over the whole venue for up to 500, with karaoke, a photobooth and street food served throughout.
Big Belly Bar & Comedy Club is on Stamford Street, a three-minute walk from Blackfriars station. Southwark is six minutes away, Waterloo nine and London Bridge around fifteen.
