Inspired by the traditional fondas of Mexico-family-run eateries where food and community take centre stage, Fonda combines relaxed hospitality with a refined dining experience. Under the guidance of Chef Santiago Lastra, guests enjoy a menu that blends modern Mexican flavours with the best of British produce, creating a memorable setting for festive gatherings.
Downstairs at Fonda, Sala Rosa captures the vibrant energy of Mexico’s after-hours venues.Adorned with contemporary Mexican artwork, this intimate, pink-hued space features its own bar and a custom sound system, making it ideal for groups and Christmas celebrations.
For seated events, we can accommodate up to 40 guests with our group sharing menu. For standing events, we offer space for up to 60 guests, complemented by our canapés menu.
Throughout the festive season, Fonda offers a special Chef’s Selection Menu designed for group dining, available from 17 November to 30 December. Guests can enjoy signature dishes such as the Baja taco, slow-cooked beef short-rib mole and truffle quesadilla, showcasing the restaurant’s inventive approach to modern Mexican cuisine.
