A very British brasserie with an unrivalled wine list, Maddox Tavern has been tailor-made for Mayfair. Set in the heart of the district, the restaurant boasts re-imagined vintage decor and simple, effortless style, providing the perfect backdrop to enjoy an all-day menu of elevated British classics. Steeped in history, 47 Maddox Street was once a high­end gentlemen’s outfitters, which included Winston Churchill amongst its clientele. With its original mahogany cabinets, fixtures and mezzanine all still in place, this unique space has been lovingly refurbished to combine heritage with modern, metropolitan charm.

Located just off Bond Street, Maddox Tavern serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, even offering four discrete dining spaces within the original tailor’s fittings rooms.

Located in the heart of Mayfair, comprising a variety of flexible and characterful spaces, Maddox Tavern can host events ranging from intimate meetings to grander celebrations. Larger events can be hosted throughout The Tavern and The Dining Rooms, with a maximum capacity of 120 seated or 200 standing. Semi-private options are also available for larger groups.
Small groups can hire one of our four discrete dining spaces, once the original fitting rooms of William Cooling’s tailor shop. Each room has the following capacities:
