One Moorgate Place is a breathtaking Grade II* listed Christmas party venue set inside a Victorian hall in the heart of the City of London. Built in 1893 in a grand Neo-Baroque style, the building has been home to the Institute of Chartered Accountants ever since, complete with an indoor bridge modelled on Venice's Rialto, believed to be the only one of its kind in a London event space. Come December, all of that grandeur gets dressed for Christmas with trees, garlands and lit centrepieces filling halls that already feel like they belong to another century.
Two rooms lead the way for a One Moorgate Place Christmas party. The Great Hall is the venue's showpiece, a vast column-free room holding up to 400 guests, with the building's upper floors seemingly suspended around it, giving parties plenty of room to spread out for dinner, drinks and dancing.
The Main Reception Room offers something more intimate, a formal space for up to 150 guests suited to a seated Christmas dinner or a drinks reception beneath the same Victorian grandeur. Beyond these two, the One Moorgate Place also has a handful of smaller, more contemporary spaces for hire which are perfectly suited to more intimate Christmas celebrations or private dining.
One Moorgate Place is just a short walk from Moorgate, Bank and Liverpool Street stations, so however your Christmas party guests are travelling into the City, they're rarely more than a few minutes from the door.
