The Brewery Christmas Party

Join us for a private Christmas party in December 2025 as The Brewery invites you to step into the wonderful world of The Midnight Carnival.

Rumours say it is a carnival like no other, suspended in time between 1899 and the present, where whispers of fortune, spectacle, and secrets linger. As night falls, the carnival awakens from its forgotten era, drawing guests into a web of intrigue and illusion, where nothing is quite as it seems.

But be warned - the enchantment is fleeting. When the clock strikes midnight, the carnival vanishes as suddenly as it appears, leaving only its mystery behind.

Our comprehensive party package includes exclusive hire of The Porter Tun room for your exclusive Christmas party. The room will be fully themed and on arrival you will be greeted by entertainers and a 45 minute sparkling cocktail reception. You'll be well catered for throughout the night with 5.5 ours of unlimited house wine, beer and soft drinks, and a sumptuous three-course meal with coffee and petit fours, or a standing menu. There will be striking table centre displays with black linen, and an after-dinner DJ.

About The Porter Tun Room

The Porter Tun is one of the largest and oldest unobstructed event spaces in London and is absolutely perfect for large Christmas parties. An exposed King Post timber roof giving a clear span of 60ft above a 778 square metre antique wooden floor makes it a perfect location for conferences, awards dinners, fashion shows and exhibitions. The large raised balcony is ideal for a reception area or presentation platform.

It comes fully equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, Wi-Fi and fully integrated LED lighting system. The space is fully air-controlled with natural daylight.

The Brewery is a truly historic, Grade II listed London venue occupying the buildings of Whitbread’s 18th Century beer-making empire located in central London.

All of the rooms in The Brewery are unique and can cater fantastically for private and exclusive Christmas parties. From major events in The Porter Tun, King George III and Queen Charlotte to more intimate shows in the James Watt, Smeaton Vaults and Sugar Rooms.

The Grubstreet Author offers three additional spaces, The Pasteur, Cutting and Sample rooms. These spaces are located within The Brewery and are available for hire as a suite on their own or to provide additional spaces as part of a larger Brewery event.
