The Library of Birmingham is one of central Birmingham’s most spectacular dining and events venues, boasting everything that you can hope to expect – from luxurious décor and long bars for a speedy service!
This impressive, floor to ceiling, book-lined space at the very heart of The Library of Birmingham, allows you to mingle among some of the UK’s best literary works. This is our most stunning space inside the Library and can be customised to suit most events styles.
The Book Rotunda accommodates up to 300 guests for a standing reception and 180 guests for a banquet dinner. The high ceilings and long escalators give this space a real WOW factor.

The Library of Birmingham is the largest public library in Europe and the busiest in the UK with over 1 million books on the shelves.
The Library of Birmingham holds the second largest Shakespeare collection in the world, including a Shakespeare First Folio. One of the only 250 in the world and considered to be one of the most important books in the English language.
