An Interactive Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery themed Christmas Party at The Hilton Newcastle Gateshead
You’ll need Sherlock Holmes-style detection skills because there’s been a murder! One of you is guilty.
You’ll be in your own private dining room - and between courses of a sumptuous 3-course dinner with unlimited drinks, our fully-costumed detective quizzes `the suspects’. Watch out for clues because later, you’ll take a guess at the culprit.
About our Murder Mystery Christmas dinner party nights
Sherlock Holmes murder mystery – While you and your guests settle down to enjoy a delicious three course Christmas dinner, news of a murder comes through and the drama unfolds. The action is fast and furious so you’ll have to be on your toes to unravel the mystery and claim your prize as the best detective. These are interactive events with guests invited to examine clues, listen to live suspect testimonies and work in teams to uncover the murderer.
Private dining rooms – Due to the interactive nature of the murder mystery, your group will be allocated their own private dining room. This enables you to benefit from all the intimacy and privacy of your own space, whilst still gaining access to the amazing shared entertainment after dinner.
Group sizes – We require a minimum of 20 people per group at this venue, of which, 8 to 12 will play the part of suspects. Any guests above this number need not be left out though as there are plenty of jobs for willing detectives; making notes during the suspect testimonies, examining clues and trying to uncover the murderer. The maximum number of guests we can cater for is 40 in one room.
Format of the murder mystery – Ahead of your Christmas party, a number of your guests will be supplied with clues, secrets and motives which will see them suspected of committing the most horrendous of crimes. Then, on the day in question, our detective will attend the venue to quiz the suspects. The plot will unfold as each guest discovers their part in the events that resulted in a murder, finally leading to the shocking revelation that one of them is a killer!
About the after-dinner entertainment
As if the murder mystery wasn’t enough, we’ve packed this event full of extra entertainment, it’s Christmas after all! As well as your own private dining room, after dinner make your way down to the onsite nightclub where your tickets allow shared (*) access to the following:
Photo booth – Your ticket price give unlimited access to the photo booth. Each visit includes double prints for guests to take home as a souvenir.
Glitter face painters – The perfect addition to any glitzy afterparty! Our face painters will be open after dinner with their sophisticated, sparkly designs. Glitter beard anyone?
(*) Shared access means you will share the after dinner entertainment with groups from other private dining rooms.
What drinks are included in the Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery party?
Included in the ticket price is a welcome drink, and unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks served from 8pm until 12.30pm.
