Aintree Racecourse is one of the most distinctive Christmas party venues in the North West and home of the Grand National, one of the most celebrated sporting events in the world, and a venue that brings a genuine sense of history and spectacle to everything it hosts.
Christmas parties at Aintree run as shared party nights on selected December evenings, or as private hire for groups that want the venue to themselves. The event suites sit within the grandstand complex, and several of them look directly out over the famous racecourse.
The Princess Royal Suite holds up to 350 guests and comes with those grandstand views; the Golden Miller Suite steps up to 600 for a banquet and offers 650sqm of flexible event space. The Sunloch Suite matches that footprint with the same sweeping views over the course. For smaller groups, Becher's Suite, named after the most famous fence on the Grand National circuit, seats up to 150 with views straight to the winning post.
Whatever the size of your group, you're celebrating somewhere that has hosted the greatest names in racing for well over a century. That's a harder thing to find than a nice room and a Christmas menu.
Set in Merseyside, just outside Liverpool, Aintree is well connected for guests travelling from across the North West. Aintree station sits directly opposite the racecourse, with Merseyrail services running every 15 minutes from Liverpool Central which is a straightforward journey for city-based guests. Those coming by car benefit from free on-site parking, and the venue is easily reached from the M57 and M62 motorway networks.
