Enter the world of Sherlock Holmes for a murder mystery Christmas party at the fantastic Edwardian in Manchester. The 5-star, Grade II-listed Edwardian Hotel is one of Manchester’s most luxurious venues. It’s spacious, comfortable and full of character. Located in Manchester’s city centre, the hotel is just a couple of minutes away from St Peter’s Square tram stop. Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria are also close by.

Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery

While you and your guests settle down to enjoy a delicious three course Christmas dinner, news of a murder comes through and the drama unfolds. The action is fast and furious so you’ll have to be on your toes to unravel the mystery and claim your prize as the best detective. These are interactive events with guests invited to examine clues, listen to live suspect testimonies and work in teams to uncover the murderer.

Private Dining Rooms & Group Sizes

Due to the interactive nature of the murder mystery, your group will be allocated their own private dining room. This enables you to benefit from all the intimacy and privacy of your own space, whilst still gaining access to the amazing shared entertainment after dinner.

We require a minimum of 15 people per group at this venue, of which, 8 to 12 will play the part of suspects. Any guests above this number need not be left out though as there are plenty of jobs for willing detectives; making notes during the suspect testimonies, examining clues and trying to uncover the murderer.

Format of the murder mystery

Ahead of your Christmas party, a number of your guests will be supplied with clues, secrets and motives which will see them suspected of committing the most horrendous of crimes (have you guessed what it is yet!?). Then, on the day in question, our detective will attend the venue to quiz the suspects. The plot will unfold as each guest discovers their part in the events that resulted in a murder, finally leading to the shocking revelation that one of them is a killer!

What drinks are included in the Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery Event?

Included in the ticket price is a welcome drink, half a bottle of wine, plus unlimited soft drinks.

• Upgrade to All-Inclusive Standard for £20+VAT per person to include unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks are included in your ticket price. Served from 8pm until 12.30pm.
• Upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus for £50+VAT per person to include unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks, plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers) or glasses of Prosecco. Served from 8pm until 12.30pm.
