Horwood House holds Christmas parties inside a Grade II listed manor house just outside Milton Keynes, its halls dressed in greenery and candlelight for the whole of December.

The manor sits at the heart of a four-star hotel spread across 38 acres of woodland and lawns, with a £6.5 million refurbishment adding a newer wing of botanical prints and Scandi-style interiors alongside the original oak-panelled rooms. Its 1911 Restaurant brings a stylish, modern edge to the party season, with booth seating and low lighting that suit a sumptuous sit-down dinner.
