From Nakatomi to Your Office: Christmas Party Dos and Don’ts
DON’T hold it in the office. What’s the worst that could happen? If you’ve seen the movie, you know the worst that could happen.
DO pick a venue, and we’ve got plenty. We've got venues with a view like Nakatomi Plaza, themed Christmas parties, all-inclusive parties, shared parties, parties with live bands, budget-friendly parties... we've got venues to suit everyone's needs.
DON’T agree to work at your Christmas Party and DON’T ask your employees to work at the Christmas Party.
DO enjoy yourself as an employee and as an employer, DO appreciate the hard work your employees do throughout the year.
DON’T hide away on the phone with your ex-partner/estranged partner. Trust me, this isn't the time to start this.
DO get your boogie on the dance floor or friendly chitter chatter at the bar if dancing isn’t your thing.
DON’T take things into your own hands.
DO tell a member of staff if there are any problems. Staff at the venue will be happy to help and they'll have security for extra measures!
DON’T use the dirty building vents to get in.
DO use the main door. Lots of our venues have VIP red carpets, photo opportunities and welcome drinks! If you need to use the building vents, I’d recommend not wearing white.
DON’T tape accessories to your back. If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean!
DO wear accessories like a nice watch, or sparkling jewellery! If your occasion is casual, perhaps don a Santa hat!
DON’T make enemies at the party. Why? Have you seen Die Hard 3?
DO have fun and act appropriately with everyone at your party! ‘Tis the season to be merry! The last thing you need is a revengeful brother (or colleague) coming for you.
